| 현감, 수사, 병사, 감사가 주재하는 관청의 본 건물로 수령이 집행하던 건물의 일곽(一郭) 즉, 대청(大廳)이라고도 부른다. 지방의 일반 행정업무와 재판 등이 여기에서 행해지고 지방관의 생활 처소인 내아(內衙)와 구분되어, 보통 그 동편에 위치하였기 때문에 동헌(東軒)이라 불리게 되었다. |

| Donghen is a main official residence building that Suryeong like Hyengam, Susa, Byeongsa, and Gamsa resides at. This building is called Dae-Chung as well. General administration works and judgment were performed in this building. This building was called Donghun because it was located at the east side of Nae-a that was a residence of local officials. |
